Last day 2 He was driving. Ugly red nose of his car all around in front of him. He was driving too automatically. Sometimes it seemed that if he winks sleepily, he’d appear two blocks farther. He didn’t have to concentrate on driving. He did have to concentrate on keeping his basic life functions switched on. That was the day when something simply had to turn wrong. As he realized that, surprisingly, he started to feel much equanimous. He scratched some slow careless pedestrian by a side mirror. As he heard receding stream of curses, he rolled his eyes up.
